The Uplifters got together in the studio to continue work on their track for the Specialized Project in support of Teenage Cancer Trust, and National Foundation for Youth Music.
This year’s project is also dedicated to memory of ‘Prince Rimshot’ John Bradbury.

Big thanks to Mike & Liam at HQ Studio. Here’s some photos from our session.
A message from the Organisers:
Hi everyone
It is with sadness that we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Mossley Music and Arts Festival, originally set to take place at Mossley AFC, Seel Park, on 28 and 29 May 2016.
Despite an exciting, enviable line-up of performers, and much goodwill and support from local residents and businesses; unfortunately poor ticket sales has made the staging of the festival untenable.
However, we’re not giving up. We love Mossley and we’re proud of our home town. We want to showcase the talent it has to offer and we also want people from outside Mossley to see what a great, friendly community we have.
The festival will return in 2017 with a similarly ambitious roster of artists and a series of smaller pop-up events towards the end of 2016. We look forward to telling you all about it, once dates are confirmed.
We would like to thank you all for your continued support and enthusiasm, and especially to those who bought tickets.
Full refunds will processed straight away through the festival’s ticketing partner; Skiddle.
If you have any questions, please email team@mossleyfestival.com or send us a message here.

It was good to be back in Stockport for the Live@Guild Xmas Skank. Always a good reception in SK and the crowd, as ever, didn’t disappoint. Nice to see some familiar faces too.
The year ends for us with some new songs becoming popular in the set, the dust being blown off some older favourites, and we’ve even had resident MC & hornsman Rob make his live debut on Harmonica!
Our thanks go to Ste Macca & all the team from Live@Guild, along with Sound Engineers Dan & Jon from Noisebox Productions.
Festive big-ups to one and all. Keepin’ it Ska into 2016!!
Many thanks again to DJ David Rodigan for featuring some of our album tracks on his BBC Radio 1Xtra show.
@TheUpliftersUK check out 'Rosco' Hammond organ style plus 'Blow The Doors Off' from Manchester's finest 'Pure Ska Music' is the new cd.
